Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using Swift Translate ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
Description of service
Swift Translate is a screen translation application for Android devices that provides:
- Real-time screen text translation via floating bubble overlay
- Chat translation for messaging apps
- Subtitle translation for video content
- Voice translation capabilities
- Support for 100+ languages
User responsibilities
By using Swift Translate, you agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes
- Not use the App to translate content that violates any laws or regulations
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or tamper with the App
- Not use the App in ways that could damage or overburden our services
- Keep your device and the App updated for security purposes
Accessibility service permission
Swift Translate requires Accessibility Service permission to function. This permission is used solely to:
- Read text content visible on your screen for translation
- Display translation overlays on top of other apps
- Detect text input fields for reply translation
We do not use this permission to collect passwords, financial information, or any sensitive personal data.
Subscriptions and payments
Swift Translate offers both free and premium subscription tiers:
- Free tier: Access to all features with session-based usage limits and advertisements
- Premium tier: Unlimited translations, ad-free experience, and priority support
Premium subscriptions are billed through Google Play. By subscribing, you agree to Google Play's terms of service. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Google Play according to their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. If you have issues with your subscription, please contact Google Play support or reach out to us for assistance.
Intellectual property
Swift Translate and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by YDZ Labs and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our express written permission.
Third-party services
The App uses third-party services that have their own terms of service:
- Google ML Kit for translation services
- Firebase for analytics and crash reporting
- Google AdMob for advertisements
- RevenueCat for subscription management
Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
- Translations will be 100% accurate
- The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- The App will be compatible with all devices or Android versions
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YDZ Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Changes to terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by other means. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
