WhatsApp Auto-Translate: Read AND Reply in Any Language

Auto-translating what you receive
- Install Swift Translate, flip the switch, grant the accessibility permission (that’s how it reads the screen to translate in place).
- Open the chat and tap the bubble → Chat Mode.
- Set the contact’s language once. From now on, their messages appear in your language automatically — including new ones as they land.
Settings are saved per contact, so each conversation keeps its own language.
Auto-translating what you send
To send messages in the other person’s language:
- Tap the WhatsApp text box.
- Drag the bubble onto it.
- Type in your language. Hit send.
The message is sent in their language. The conversion happens on your phone before the message is sent.
